We have an obligation to speculate-

there is no way of being certain any of this is actually happening

dry, brittle wind whose rhythmic caress makes percussionists of the trees

many of our painful chronic symptoms are physical reminders of deeply held unexpressed emotional traumas... aching for release

the dead are as much alive as we the living are dead

on an august night, nothing makes more sense to me than a sky full of stars

countless battle lines are drawn/ each of us in conflict with something/ images reflected in the dark glass reach out to us/ stare back at us with longing/ yet how often we shut our eyes tight, unable to return their gaze

Can we ever be sure we're thinking our own thoughts, and not just thoughts we've been conditioned to think of as our own.

existence as hallucination/ believing we exist because we appear to exist, the way we appear to exist in our dreams

this origami world/ this folded paper toy/ mere replica of something unseen, something unspeakably real/ "unfoldable"

religions are the imaginary enclosures we erect around ourselves and the gods we worship

we are leaves, thin as thoughts, whispering in the winds of  consciousness

Consciousness "peoples" in much the same way as an apple tree "apples". Life is "doing" us, and not the other way around. But one must venture boldly beyond the "hoax of separateness" to fully comprehend this truth.

‎"Here" is only an imaginary place we consensually agree exists in relation to another imaginary place called "there." By the same token, "now" is an imaginary, consensually agreed upon moment existing in relation to its imaginary counterpart "then". Notions of where and when are little more than conveniently contrived conceptual artifacts.

"I wish only to remain with you forever," I protest, still the death angel insists "it's not your time"/ so, reluctantly, I return to the pain. the sorrows, the husk of physicality/ to this tattered, weary costume of functionality/ with the understanding that our greatest earthly joys only pale in comparison-

Suppose we were to discover that both our inner and outer worlds were merely "projections" that existed in our imaginations. But projections of what? Perhaps our "essences" create elaborate holograms out of the quantum field in which to "play". So while everyone's reality is just a little bit different, they're all made out of the same "stuff". "So where do our imaginations exist?" . . . that's a good question-

Beware the Dreamer, for he comes to Awaken you!

All the ancient birdie mystics, seers, poets and dreamers were picked off long ago by the cats.

Perhaps we live in a world shaped like an hourglass. The top half being what we call "out there", the bottom half being what we call "in here". Cosmos and Psyche- each possessing counterparts that exist in the other. "As above so below"- and the sand falls freely in either direction. We are the "points" at which the two ends meet. Even the Moon Herself has an energetic "twin" that rises and sets each night within you.

If what mystics and mathematicians are saying is true- that there is no "out there" out there, that our external world is as much an apparition as is our internal one.

What if EVERYTHING is just a hallucination? What if no one REALLY gets hurt?

Tell yourself something is real. The more you believe it the more it is.

I'm not at all convinced that the spirits of the dearly departed return to haunt us. I think it more likely that these apparitions represent projections of our own unfinished business. I also tend to believe that haunted houses contain the "energetic remnants" of their former occupants which we reanimate like holograms, provided we are sensitive enough to them.

My entire universe is as real as a dragonfly's breath . . .

Ignorance is being at odds with the world around you. When the inside and the outside are One, you will know who you are.

When Jesus was just a lad, he would constantly annoy his little chums at the "Nazareth Middle School" with remarks such as this: "Believe it or not, God's my dad- and He's teachin' me how to box!"

What if all our dreams, visions, hallucinations, mystical states, OBE's, NDE's etc. are merely the result of a secretion of our pineal gland- "DMT" (The "Spirit Molecule"). And what if the moment this gland finally shuts down, our "connection to the Spirit Realms, including our experience of an afterlife, shuts down along with it? For some, this question will be too scary to even ask.

If we constantly dwell on the many ways our world appears to be coming apart, we will eventually live in a world that is on the brink of collapse. If instead we celebrate the miraculous ways new life arises out of death and decay, we will live in a world that is continually renewing itself. It's all a matter of where we place our attention- I'm convinced it's that simple.

The natural world is a public library that imposes no overdue fees on its patrons. There is wisdom in the wind and the sunlight.

The all-but-forgotten deities of our ancient past appear to have disappeared along with the multitudes who once worshipped them. Could it be the existence of our own gods and goddesses depends entirely on our willingness to worship them? Do we in fact animate that which we put our attention on?

Take care not to be seduced by over-romanticized images of a Divinity whose essence is beyond comprehension or articulation. While nature often provides us with opportunities to experience the "miraculous", we must never lose sight of the fact that we are living in an omnivorous universe.

We are free to make waves as long as we don't rock the boat. And we are free to continue believing that we are free.

Whether it be playing the mystic or the madman, neither role is without its drawbacks. And the line dividing the two- mostly a formality.

A parched wind blows. Leaves fall- the dying part of the cycle. Learn to accept the changes gracefully. There is nothing more we can do for the dead, and much to do for the living.

Our cat naps serenely near the tangled remains of what was once a fluttering blue-jay. And as I attempt to swallow yet another pill of "the innate perfection of all things", it becomes lodged in my throat like a tiny hollow bone.

What a strange world this- with an odd set of physical laws that requires things be killed by other things in order to maintain its balance. Even the galaxies of this world consume one another. A most curious place indeed-

It is by expressing our fragility that we avoid being shattered.

We project the deepest mystery of our most intimate selves out into the world and call it "Nature". Surrendering to Nature is surrendering to one's own embrace.

Let us be crazy, reckless and wild. If you are too careful, both love and God will escape you. ~Rumi

Despite thousands of years of religious, parental, and political indoctrination we continue to behave disrespectfully toward our world and one another. Perhaps we have been seeking guidance from all the wrong sources. And while our profusion of elaborate belief systems clearly distinguishes us from the "lower forms of life", it also poses the greatest threat to our survival. What the world needs most is NOT another ceremony- but for us to wake up from our trances.

So many words, so many concepts, so many workshops-are we really getting any smarter, or simply finding more eloquent ways of articulating our ignorance?

Eyes closed, and motionless as thought amidst rustling leaves, I await the wind's tender abduction. Without warning, I am swept away by a living river of light that pulses in spirals around the entire planet- rippling currents of subtle intensity comprised of the essence of every tree, rock, fish, fowl and insect that ever existed, possessing an innate intelligence from which my own is merely borrowed. I sense I am not alone. Others are here . . . I feel their presence-other pilgrims who, like me, brave these uncharted depths . . . and who are dimly aware of me as well.

The rising of a new star is the birth of a child of light, as is the descent of each into darkness a kind of death. We may have more things in common with the stars "than are dreamt of in our philosophies".

Nothing can exist in our world that does not first exist in each of us. If we sense a Divine Presence, it is only a reflection of that which is already present deep within. We are IT- there is no "Other".

Like tumbling bits of multicolored glass, a kaleidoscopic projection of "The Truth" spins endlessly inside our heads- nothing changes like our perception of the truth.

Is optimism, like cynicism, merely another form of delusion? Our "individual realities" are determined and shaped by the perceptions we intellectually impose upon them, while our "shared reality" defies both our perception and intellectual understanding of it. "Eternity" can only be experienced by going "out of one's head".

The "Infinite Reality" we all share bears little resemblance to the one each of us lives in. For deeply embedded into each is a "personal story". And though countless tales have been told about this shared "Reality", it is devoid of all stories. To enter into its subtle landscape, we need only be willing to relinquish all attachment to our own. Our individual "stories" tell us everything about us, except who we really are.

I'll wager at least 90% of what most of us would swear to be true is, in fact, false. Yet these are the very unexamined lies that animate our world- and we just keep makin' it up as we go along. They lie because they can- and because we let them.

The only thing we have to fear is our own complacency. Question EVERYTHING!

Lift lid for operating instructions.

First of all, things fall "in" not "down". There is no such thing as "down"- we made it up. Secondly, there is no such thing as "day" (we made that up too). There is only continuous "night", except of course, for when the light from a nearby star blocks our view of it. And lastly, we have yet to imagine what is possible.

What if you discovered it was all a hoax- that nothing in your world was what it appeared to be? What would you do?

The last thing the Easter Bunny wants any of us to notice is the giant zipper running down the back of his costume.

Our current way of life is the unfortunate by-product of countless lies and misappropriated ideologies. And if we're creating the world with our thoughts, then we've got to stop using our reptilian brains.

The plug is about to be pulled on the "Great American Fossil Fuel Festival"- then what are we gonna do? The world is totally unprepared for what is happening, and what is about to happen.

We project onto our world the aspects of ourselves we are unable to own. The good we call gods and goddesses, the bad we call demons and evil, and the artificial world in which we live- a projection of our manufactured selves. Find a way to "own" it- ALL OF IT - for it all belongs to you. And in time, nothing will remain with which to be at odds.

First assume that every character who appears in your dreams personifies an aspect of YOU- Then apply the same assumption to every character who appears in your life.

Compassion reminds us there is no "other"- that we are looking into the eyes of our own reflection. I am every bit a projection of your Consciousness as you are of mine.

Practice arbitrary acts of Disambiguation-

ATTENTION YMCA MEMBERS!!! Toddlers are no longer permitted to play in or around Extractor unless accompanied by parent/guardian. Violations may result in forfeiture of pool and wet locker room privileges.

Take nothing for granted. Play with all your toys every chance you get. One just never knows. . .

See that you don't develop an allergic reaction to novelty.

The clear plastic inner tube spoke to me from the far side of the pool. Like a transparent Buddha, it floated serenely upon the surface and revealed its secrets in a way no words ever could. With a simple eloquence it said: "The inside IS the outside! This is the fundamental Truth and shape of EVERYTHING in your universe- including your universe."

Entertain benign alternatives to panic and mass hysteria. Eliminate "Running Scared" as a viable option.

We need to more fully explore the healing potential inherent in non-lethal forms of shameless behavior.

"Just what the hell is REALLY going on here?" is a pretty good question to ask yourself each day, whether or not you wake up believing you already know the answer.

This moment is not a concept! Yet many of us are driven by our elaborate belief systems to conceptualize the heart and soul out of our experience. Perhaps it is best to believe either in nothing at all, or in that which requires no defending.

How many of us ever even consider asking ourselves the question: "What if I've gotten it all completely wrong?" It requires a great deal of courage to awaken each morning and question the validity of what we believe to be true. Without curiosity and imagination we are lost.

The further we distance ourselves from our immediate experience the more of a "thing" it becomes- it becomes what we think "about" it. The more engaged we are in our experience the more malleable it becomes- it actually "becomes" whatever we believe it IS. I'm convinced the experience of Life is closer to the truth than anything we could possibly think or say about it.

Like it or not, humankind tends to learn things the hard way.

What the world needs most of all is another essay about the health benefits of stillness. We devour one insightful essay after another, believing ourselves to be fed. When, in fact, it is our heads and not our bellies that are swollen.

I am less interested in developing a "wakeful" state in my dreams than I am in introducing a "dreamlike" state into my wakefulness.

A dream is a strange handshake between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

What's really going on here is more about essence and less about stuff.

The Past is just a "story" we wear. The Future- one we've yet to try on. And the Present is where we all get to "run around naked".

My "Planet of Origin" is not located, as one might think, in some distant galaxy, but exists right here; alongside this, in a parallel reality with which I have somehow lost touch- one whose familiar shores become visible only in my dreams.

In this perfect silence can be heard the faint echos of all silences- the alphas and omegas of all that ever was or hopes to be.

I gazed intently at the flickering shadows. Out of the corner of my eye I watched the white butterfly flutter by. And in that moment I knew that everything that ever needed saying had just been said.

To this moment's silent ambrosia- to this empty vessel void of all form and all thought, do I surrender myself completely.

If for any reason I find I am unable to disappear into the mystery and significance of the natural world, I will eventually become as predictable and superficial as the world around me.

The natural world is a public library that imposes no overdue fees on its patrons. There is wisdom in the wind and in the sunlight.

Nature is Us "turned inside-out". The more intimate we become with nature, the more intimate we become with ourselves. The ancients knew themselves very well- and if you wish to know who you really are, spend time in a rain forest or gaze deeply into the night sky . . . and Listen!

We project the deepest mystery of our most intimate selves out into the world and call it "Nature". Surrendering to Nature is surrendering to one's own embrace.

Try to imagine how different our world would be if, instead of the wheel, someone had invented the "oval".

We are each responsible for the kind of world we live in- for we reconstruct it brick by brick with our responses to it.

For every star, a cricket- the night is rich with light and song!

When I heard the astronomer, where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room, When I was shown the charts and diagrams, the proofs, the figures arranged in columns before me; How soon unaccountable, I became tired and sick; Till rising and gliding out, I wander’d off by myself, In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time, Look’d up in perfect silence at the stars. --Walt Whitman

The most brilliant Light you will ever see is the one inside of you.

At the rate we're going, if we erect one more security lamp the night sky will become little more than a dim memory- a thing of great wonder and mystery known only to our ancestors.

Once again the wind has led me to that invisible ledge between worlds.

In the dead of winter, long after the last bright leaf has fallen, the wind will be left with no instrument upon which to play its music- save for the sound of its ghostly voice keening eerily through the skeletal remains of a once lush wood. Someday when I grow up, I want to be the Wind!

Believe it or not, the most sacred spot on earth is the one you are standing on.

Most people believe themselves to be "living in the world"- when in fact, it is the other way around. And it is not your mind, but your heart that will lead you to an understanding of this.

All that we call "reality" is merely a shadow of something infinitely more real that can only be known experientially.

Somewhere there is a world where I fit in, in all the ways I don't fit into this one.

Atheists remind me of fish who, because they are unable to see or define it, insist there is no such thing as water.

‎"Anyone who becomes seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that there is a spirit manifest in the laws of the universe, a spirit vastly superior to that of man." -- Albert Einstein

Just as some dreams seem so vivid you would swear at the time they were really happening, our so called "physical world" is about as physical as the thoughts we have about it. It's an elaborate trick, one we consensually "play along" with. And since our brains are hard-wired to perceive only a small fraction of "what is", they make extremely unreliable tools for measuring and determining the actual breath and scope of reality. Non-ordinary states of reality do indeed exist, but we must literally find a way to go "out of our heads" in order to experience them.

Humanity teeters on the cusp of a great cycle of death and regeneration, and is now undergoing a mass near-death Awakening.

Ever notice how in writings and discussions about the 2012 End Date no mention is ever made regarding the potential effects the upcoming galactic event might have on any life form other than human? I guess, like most everything else, 2012 is "all about us" . . . . and of course the Pleiadeans.

According to John O. Dean, retired command sergeant major- U.S. Army Intelligence with Top Secret NATO security clearance:
" . . . it's not simply that we're being visited by interplanetary, interstellar or intergalactic visitors- many people in the military, government, and science know we're dealing with an intelligence that has a multidimensional source." Dean foresees an imminent "transcendent transformation" into another realm of reality that will be "so unbelievable that you can't even imagine it."

Enlightenment is awakening to the fact that on some unimaginable level we are all "playing along"-

Some days the only things missing from this "clown school" are the fright wigs and oversized shoes.

We assign entirely too much significance to our social identities.

‎"You don't blow into a kazoo, you hum into it!" --Regis Philbin

Afghanistan- the longest war in U.S. history. I returned from Vietnam in 1969 thinking perhaps we'd finally learned our lesson. That was 40 years ago. Where on earth do we get off thinking we've learned anything at all? We live under the thumb of a corrupt system that fuels its agenda by controlling us through the media with fear. It's no longer the "commies" that pose the greatest threat to our national security but the terrorists who lurk behind every "Bush". 40 years ago Martin Luther King was "silenced" for pointing out to us that "America is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world". When the hell are we gonna wake up?

‎"SHOW BUSINESS"- an industry dedicated to providing uninterrupted distraction to those of us who can still afford to pay.

Our biggest problem isn't just that there are too damn many of us, but that too damn many of us are fools.

We are improving the planet- one skyscraper at a time.

There must be a shortage of guardian angels 'cause there appears to be no shortage of bullies.

If, while walking late at night, you should accidentally step on a severed hand and get its blood on your shoe, remove all traces of the blood as fast as you can or it will follow you home.

It will require more than a few well-intentioned transfusions of freshly printed/worthless money to bolster a comatose economy. Its reanimation will depend entirely on a vibrant ecosystem, one that is abundant in natural resources and teeming with life. And the last time I looked, we were fresh out of anything like that. Perhaps the secret plan for our future is to make everything (including our food) out of plastic.

There's no convincing anyone the game is almost over- this illusion we live on behalf of. I guess they'll just have to find out for themselves.

To create a society informed, not by the rhythms and cycles of the natural world, but by a "handbook of do's and don'ts", is to create, in essence, a gigantic "machine". When seen in this context, our modern world more closely resembles a "global lawnmower" than anything else- one that sputters helplessly as it runs out of fuel.

Immediately following the Apocalypse, please assemble in the common area and await further instructions.

It is time to unhinge from the outworn myths, rituals and ceremonies which no longer serve and inform us.

Become proficient in the art of relocating your consciousness into other dimensions. Believe it or not, this skill will come in handy one day.

We can't be "losing our minds", because we never really had them in the first place.

Legend has it the planes indians were, among other things, highly accomplished aviators.

Due to the extreme shortage of available computers in the world, I have no choice but to access the internet with my sexy pocket telephone.

The earth's magnetic polarity is not the only thing that is currently in flux. Many of the problems humanity faces today are a direct result of males' inability/unwillingness to confront and reconcile their dualistic natures. Until the global psyche finds a way to recover from it's apparent "amnesia"-until more men find the courage to restore their own psychic equilibrium, the global imbalances we are experiencing can only worsen.

Each problem is its own solution in disguise-

The moment you realize the answer is all around you- always has been, that you are free to stop looking, is the moment that the answer you seek is most likely to find you. Sometimes the only thing standing in our way is our own effort.

"Alchemy of Meditation": the refinement of gross thought forms into those of a more subtle nature.

The next time you find yourself sitting quietly in nature and you hear a sound that is particularly pleasing to you, close your eyes and open the palms of your hands. "Listen" to this sound with your open palms. Gradually allow all the subtle energies that surround you to enter into your awareness in this way, and do not be surprised if you suddenly burst into tears.

The Buddha attained enlightenment as he sat beneath a tree. Jesus was released from his earthly torment as he hung from a tree. Osiris, though transformed into a tree, managed to sire the god Horus with his beloved Isis. While hanging from a tree, the severed head of One Hunhun-Apu spat into the palm of the princess Xquiq, who bore him the Hero Twins, just as Eden's Tree bore the fruit of knowledge of the "Illusion of Separation". The list goes on and on . . . Besides being the wisdom-keepers of all ancient secrets, trees are the true mystics of our world. Listen carefully to what they have to say.

Nature invites me to relinquish my illusory attachment to this physical body and enter into the field of subtle energies that surround it. "Where am I?" . . . I am Everywhere!

When you are able to hear the sound of a tiger swallowtail as it lights upon a flower, know that you have become a "good listener"-

We are participating in a collective trance- a shared dream that appears the way we "believe it to be". And we perpetuate the "hoax of our separateness" by experiencing ourselves as individual life forms interacting with one another, when in truth, we are the Self interacting with Itself.

How are we to transform this twisted metal wreckage we call our world? Perhaps it is happening- in spite of us.

Evidence suggests that humanity, like the Titanic, now finds itself on a collision course with a giant "iceberg" that many choose to pretend does not exist.

What if (god forbid) those harmless little chemtrails that ribbon the skies above were actually a toxic dusting of our atmosphere with poisonous chemicals whose sole purpose is to induce mysterious symptoms that send us scurrying to our physicians who in turn dole out even more toxic chemicals to counteract the ones we've been sprayed with- all in the hopes of making us feel all better again. I can't help but wonder what Mark Twain might have had to say about chemtrails-

If you intend to erect an artificial structure, the very least you can do is make an attempt to incorporate into its design the redundant mathematics encoded everywhere in the natural world. The ancient builders of Stonehenge and the Pyramids would find the world we live in tacky, if not horrifying.

For many, their only connection to the natural world is in the burning of its ancient remains for fuel. Each time you start up your lawnmower, you are setting fire to millions of years of natural history.

Attempting to awaken anyone who wishes to remain asleep is an exercise in futility.

The wind speaks volumes yet harbors no deceit.

My mission here is the revival of the lost art of listening . . . to the wind . . . to the rain . . . to the sound of moonlight as it pours onto the earth. And when my work here is through, my unburdened essence shall be returned home and laid to rest among those and all the other sounds of the natural world.

Without the lively chattering of the rain, I am forced to succumb to the wind's insistent whispers. I suspect somehow I'll manage.

Tonight the sky is clear and cool -alive with a swarm of meteorites, and the Seven Sisters newly risen in the northeast. I want for nothing-

No amount of wealth or power, beauty or talent is any match for a genuine appreciation for simply "being alive". Without which, it is all little more than a handful of dry bones rattling in the night wind.

Nothing reminds us what is really important like experiencing the loss of a loved one. This "reminder" is their final gift to those they leave behind.

Trees engage the wind and transform it into a "voice" . . . listen carefully!

In childhood we learn either to be grateful or resentful for having come into the world. It is when we decide whether or not to care.

True, the more we care the greater the risk of loss. But the moment we stop caring is the moment we lose everything.

Try as you might, you'll never make all the "bad things" in the world go away! We learn early on to distinguish between "pleasant and unpleasant"- good/evil. But nothing in the world is, in and of itself, either good or evil, but possesses whatever qualities we assign to it. "WHAT IS" is what is!- though it appears to each of us to be something entirely different.

We need to throw away all our clocks and calendars, and instead, measure the passing of time by more closely observing the growth of our children.

Our eventual undoing will come not at the hands of some giant asteroid, sudden ice age, worldwide famine, super volcano, nuclear holocaust, global pandemic or cosmic blast from the center of our galaxy. It will most likely be the result of our insatiable greed, arrogance and an unquenchable thirst for oil. "We are the ones we've been dreading the most"-

If there's a future for mankind it won't be anything like this.

No doubt I am a complete fool. So what? How does this make me any different from anyone else?

Far beyond thought itself, there is a Garden- where I'll be waiting.

We are living in an era of life altering changes that are affecting not only our planet but our entire solar system and beyond. Yet all around me I continue to see individuals whose attention is fixated only on the plate that is directly in front of them, compulsively trying to devise clever new ways of keeping their peas separated from their mashed potatoes.

I have come to understand the world as being more of a thought than a "thing", one that is continually informed by the deepest recesses of the Unconscious.

This temporal apparition where we all have gathered is but a "rest stop", a point of departure- a window looking out onto other worlds.

Suppression of the feminine in all of its forms is a violation of nature. It should be no mystery how we got ourselves into the predicament we're in, and even less of one as to the way out.

In the wind I hear Her walking. In the wind I feel Her need- Her need to connect with as many of us as possible . . . who still care.

I am Eve, and the Garden which you have castrated is my Lover!

Beneath the Masks of Love and Rage is a Face from whose gaze I cannot look away. In its eyes I read the words: "Look beyond your love. Look beyond your rage. Look only into My Eyes"-

The art of Surrender can be learned from a god, a goddess, a terminal illness, a dominatrix, one's cell mate, or from the hand life deals us. It matters not how Surrender is learned . . . only that it is learned.

Try to see your life as an alchemical process of refinement by purification; the gradual incendiary liberation of spirit from matter.

Stars will continue to grace the night sky long after we're gone with little regard for our passing. Such is the miraculous indifference of the heavens.

Felt the crows flying overhead. Heard the air stir with the urgent flapping of wings.

Not only are we pinpoints on the blueprint of consciousness, but the entire blueprint as well.

We now look elsewhere for the "Garden of Eden" as we have despoiled it beyond recognition.

The great religions and mythologies of the past were all designed to help us understand and cope with the fundamental mystery of existence. Through its re-enactment in ritual and ceremony we develop a personal involvement and direct experience of the Transcendent until it spills over into our daily lives; at which point, religions, mythologies, their teachings, rituals and ceremonies are no longer needed.

No doubt, there are many who are convinced our fractured ecosystem along with our crippled financial system will one day suddenly and miraculously "bounce back" to a state of perfect health. And everything will be "just the way it was back in the good ol' days"!

"Bang/Crunch\Bang/Crunch\" an oscillating we go, merrily through time and space until we get it right-

Nature is urging us to unplug this "Global Disney Ride" we call reality. Unfortunately, Nature speaks in whispers that most of us never hear.

Listen, the trees are crying . . . we've gotten it ALL wrong-

We are a thought thinking itself.

Through diligence and practice one can learn to empty one's mind of all thoughts. But is not the sensation of an "empty mind" also nothing more than a thought?

I am sitting in silence, waiting for each new thought to magically appear out of nowhere like fireflies on a still summer evening.

Resist the temptation to focus all your attention on the "little picture". Get out and look deeply into the night sky, for there you will be reminded exactly who and where you really are.

It is the limitations of Time that confine us to a physical understanding of existence. The more attached we become to the unfoldment of measured Time, the less likely we are to have a "non-ordinary" experience.

It appears many of us have learned compassion and forgiveness from the god of adam and eve. In my version of the story, adam is expelled from the garden for 30 days for starting up his lawn mower.

Why does the fate of humanity constantly seem to be in the hands of the mentally crippled?

We can never hope to successfully turn this economy of ours around until every last man, woman and child in America has "really great Abs"!

We must get our jobless back to work as soon as possible. The longer they remain "out of the loop" the more likely they are to realize how ridiculous the whole damn thing is. At all cost, they must not be allowed to "speculate", for this would eventually prove to be counter productive.

What if our consensual understanding of reality being "physical" is incorrect? What if the hallucination of "each and every one of us" is just that; a hallucination? . . . "THERE-GO-I". . . Not only would this change everything, it would explain everything.

Throughout antiquity, the Serpent has symbolized wisdom, healing, and the phases of the Moon. Associated with Eve, it has represented the cyclical mystery of Death and Regeneration as well as the Divine Feminine impulse. Unfortunately, we have responded to this magical being out of fear. And in our zeal to slay the Serpent, we have turned Eden into Hell.

There are things that I know that only I know that I know, and there are other things that even I don't know that I know . . . until I'm asked.

How exactly do we think thoughts? Where do they come from? Where are they before we think them, and how can we be sure it's really thoughts that we're thinking?

My boomerang won't come back!

The crap we're told as children wraps itself around our brains and squeezes them shut, thus making evolution tediously slow. Take care what you share with your children.

For many, the deep end of the pool is a place to be avoided at all costs. Possessing neither a Life Vest, adequate swimming skills or the desire to acquire them, the masses are content to wade out their days in the safe, predictable waters of the shallow end.

"There's a hole in the bottom of the Sea." . . . and from it rises up an ancient mixture of compressed sunlight and the remains of long forgotten beings, whose ghostly voices remind us once again of our fragility and the supreme lunacy of our arrogant disconnection from the natural world.

Due to extreme overpopulation and the accelerated pace of today's world, everyone's "15 minutes of fame" will be reduced to 12 minutes as of Sept. 1, 2010. We apologize for any inconvenience that may result from this decision.

How will we continue to be "blissful free-world consumers" once the delivery trucks stop rolling?

There is a disturbing amount of poverty and misery in the world from which many of us have been sooooooooo protected. Why didn't we do a better job of looking after one another?

Our experience should shape our opinion, and not the other way around.

The gravy train has tipped over and all the gravy is spilling out!

Once the oil reaches the Gulf Stream and heads toward Great Britain, it will become a catastrophic example of "what goes around comes around"!

There are too many of us having too many babies and consuming too much stuff. We are a "people bomb" about to explode!

I no longer believe in any sort of "out there". Somehow (and don't ask me how) each of us is "all of it"! . . . It all comes out of us.

The more clearly we perceive the "hoax of separateness" the more transparent our egos become.

The older I get the more I appreciate Stillness, and the subtle energies all around me that for half a century went unnoticed.

It's a shame commitment to rigorous scientific scrutiny wasn't more popular during the witch trials.

Excellence requires extreme effort while perfection requires none at all.

Existence represents a web of subtle energies science has yet to devise a way of measuring. It therefore assumes these energies do not exist. Science can "smell the smoke", they just haven't "found the gun".

It is only for want of something significant in our lives that the "little things" begin to wear us down.

And quite frankly, scientists are stumped!

I believe we all share the same Consciousness, but not the same Reality. "Reality", for each of us, boils down to "what we choose to put our attention on". And the enigmatic part of us that is doing the "choosing", is who we REALLY are.

We eventually become what we put our attention on. Moreover, if we constantly dwell on the many ways our world appears to be coming apart, we will eventually live in a world that is on the brink of collapse. If instead we celebrate the miraculous ways new life arises out of death and decay, we will live in a world that is continually renewing itself. It's all a matter of where we place our attention. I'm convinced it's that simple.

Only a fool would attempt to explain the complex relationship between a man and his leaf blower? And aside from that one unfortunate incident with Mother Superior, I've never seen a woman operating one of the damn things.

Owning a push-mower and a broom should be MANDATORY! There are entirely too many of us making entirely too much racket!

When your world feels like it is falling apart, remember it is only its "reflection" that is coming undone. Reflections are little more than illusory images doing what they are supposed to do, flickering in and out of existence like shadows on the wall.

Our gods only "appear" to occasionally abandon us, for they know the best of intentions only cripple a butterfly who is struggling to free itself from its cocoon. And as long as we're at it, let's stop thinking like caterpillars and start dreaming like butterflies.

I have always admired the explosive quality of Van Gogh's paintings, but I can't help but wonder what his palettes must have looked like. Those "alchemical laboratories" whereupon inspiration's fire, raw passion and visionary insight were transmuted into the vibrant colors we have come to recognize and love. Perhaps given what we know of his art, a glimpse into his "process" might prove to be more than most of us could handle.

Being alive is a miracle, regardless of the circumstance. To live one's life in full recognition of this fact is a miracle in its own right. Why is such a simple, obvious truth so often and so easily overlooked?

At long last, the curtain is descending on the Glory Days of recreational gasoline consumption. In the future, the term "recreational vehicle" will be synonymous with "unsightly lawn ornament" and "artifact of historic significance".

Like a burning man I stand amidst a green fire in the crackling spring rain.

The natural world is becoming increasingly upset with human behavior and the self-distructive path we have chosen. Continuing in the manner to which we are accustomed will undoubtedly come with a heavy price.

A life is a great deal like a bowl of spilt milk; suddenly, a whole lot of fuss and then it's all over with.

All lies and jests, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest. --Paul Simon

Mainstream western science sees nothing wrong with discarding any toy that doesn't happen to fit inside its "toy box". Perhaps there are larger toy boxes mainstream science hasn't even discovered yet. Might not be a bad idea to hang onto those "oversized" toys for a while. Stash 'em under the bed for now, and play with them when all the "grown-ups" are asleep.

It's all MIND! This would, of course, include our so called "physical world". Therefore, take care what you think.

What else on earth could anyone's life possibly be about, if not that it had some positive influence on someone else's. If anything someone said or did made a difference in your life, by all means let them know. Some secrets are not worth keeping.

You are never confined to the body, or the laws of Newtonian physics, except through a failure of imagination. -- Robert Moss

If you spend enough time in nature, there will inevitably come the moment when you suddenly and miraculously "disappear"; when you abruptly "cease to exist" as an observer, and realize beyond a shadow of a doubt that IT IS ALL YOU! Without this realization, "going green" is little more than another pro-active bandwagon to hop onto.

Are our Gods and Goddesses merely images of our own Divinity; our own archetypal Fire projected out into the world and worshiped in the form of a burning bush?

Quantum physicists tell us that all of matter is essentially composed of 99.99999... percent "empty space". In other words, things are more like "thoughts" than things. What if the nature of reality (including our so called "physical world") is pure thought? If all things are Mind, all things are possible.

Just as the fourth dimension is often referred to as space/time, so are our psyches and the natural world inseparably linked. Its Voices are the same Voices of the archetypal fires we hear in our dreams. Similarly, the sounds of our modern world are the voices of our manufactured selves. To walk in nature is to walk through our own Unconscious mind. To return to Nature is to return to our Selves.

The whole universe is a quantum mirage winking in and out of existence millions of times per second. -- Deepak Chopra

Dismantle the Military! EVERYWHERE! If only we had burned guns and generals instead of books and witches we'd all be a lot better off.

Once upon a time, a guy named Noah tried with little success to convince people it was "going to rain". Most dismissed him, believing his message wasn't "up-beat" enough. It simply wasn't what they wanted to hear.

You can begin by listening to the rain. When you think you've gotten pretty good at that, you can listen to the space "between" the raindrops. Gradually learn to focus your attention on the space between all sounds, all thoughts . . . that's when the REAL fun begins!

Changes are afoot for which most of humanity is entirely unprepared. Time to look to your heart and remember you are not alone.

If indeed we are all pilgrims on a journey of discovery through this life; will the things you learn be the things others have already learned? Or will your discoveries be unique to your own Pilgrimage?

The more fiercely you resist the water, the faster you sink. Surrender is often the surest path to the stillness at the heart of each moment's chaos.

Each moment is a "Gift" for which we should feel gratitude, not entitlement.

You needn't embark on a pilgrimage to the crop-circles of Wiltshire, England if Sacred Geometry is what you are looking for. Simply gaze into the five-fold mystery of any apple blossom, or contemplate the redundant mathematics of the relationship between Earth and the planet Venus. The most sacred place on earth that you will ever visit is where you happen to be right this moment.

"Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens." -- C. G. Jung

Our inner Cauldrons are "heating up". Our many beliefs about ourselves and the world around us, like layers of old paint, are being lifted by this Alchemical Fire. One by one each faded color dries, cracks, and is peeled away exposing the precious metal that gleams beneath it. Beyond the "smoke and mirrors" we are "Pure Gold"!

There is no shortage of belief systems, or "heavenly intervention" scenarios. While lies are easily imagined, the truth is unimaginable.

When is the last time you took a deep breath? Take care not to become so focused on the itinerary that the scenery passes you by.

This current stage of human evolution has come full circle, and now appears to be on a "collision course" with its own ass.

Cheap, available gasoline is the "life blood" of Ashland's economy. Were the "Fantasy Petroleum Bubble" ever to burst, this "not-so-sleepy" little mountain town, and many others like it, would find itself facing a "Crude Awakening"!

The lush, fragrant petals are beginning to wither and fall from a civilization whose "flowering" has come and gone. But take heart, for in their place the first signs of "new fruit" will soon appear!

Is all this "consciousness raising" simply providing people with more and more information they then have to "tune out"?
Or, as Bob Dylan might nowadays be asking himself: "How many movies and plays about 'stupid human tricks' must we witness before our 'consciousness is finally raised'?"

What if all our optimistic visions of humanity's future are little more than "wishful thinking" . . . what if? . . . What if our actual potential far exceeds even our own beliefs about it . . . what if? . . . What if the Truth has yet to be imagined?

Blushing "April Bride", I tremble here beside you. In your open-petaled radiance I witness the "blessing of the bees" and the conception of your many crimson children.

I eagerly await the eventual collapse of this increasingly toxic, mechanized world; if for no other reason than to be able to sleep through the night unassisted by potions, concoctions and every other artificial sleeping device known to modern man. I believe we have reached a "tipping point" where nothing short of a global catastrophe will restore our sanity and quiet us down.

The continuous low-frequency sonic bombardment of idling trucks, generators, transformers and exhaust fans has become widely embraced as the "New Quiet!" Who can imagine the toll that exposure to these toxic influences is taking on our health and wellbeing. One need only look around at the increasing numbers of people whose lives are suddenly cut short by mysterious illnesses which no one can explain.

The difficulties now facing humanity are not so much a part of the problem as they are part of the "solution"-

Our society has, for too long, been committed to the "overthrow of nature" based in the belief of an ethical god who resides outside of time and space; and not in a transcendent one, of whom the natural world is a divine expression.

Ask yourself this simple question: "Is what I am doing with my life based upon some ideology or principle? Or is it grounded in a deep connection with and reverence for the natural world and the unseen order that sustains it?"

Witnessing what remains of "middle-class america" as it desperately attempts to perpetuate what remains of the "american dream" is, at best, sad-

Conspiracy Theorists are often portrayed as "nut cases and lunatics"". I believe this is because the more one learns about what is "really" going on behind the scenes; and how our trust is being violated, it becomes increasingly difficult to manage one's outrage in a socially acceptable way.

So far, my favorite "Indigo Children" are the ones who have not yet discovered they are "Indigo Children"-

Personally, I have no desire to become a "telepathic glow-in-the-dark" human. "HomoLuminosity" does not appeal to me in any way, shape or form. With any luck, before the "Super-Terriffic Galactic Shift" occurs, I will have long since gratefully returned my body to the earth, and my consciousness to the "Great Sea" from whence it came-

"You can address anything in your life as a 'Thou'; the trees, the stones etc. and you can feel your whole psychology change as you do it." -- Joseph Campbell

Don't go getting too sure of yourself just yet. Remember, god is also a TRICKSTER! And that sound you hear in the distance may very well be the sound of laughter-

I feel about the sound of trucks the way the plains indians must have felt about the sound of the first locomotive

"The experience of Eternity, right here and now, is the function of life! -- Joseph Campbell

Ours is a culture obsessed with electronic distractions. Turn off all the "pretty colors" before they delete the best part of you-

Humans are the only animal I know of, who will unravel the "thread of its very soul" and use it to install a satellite dish.

stillness is a window to forever

Curious, how easily one's conscious awareness is able to fly unrestricted throughout the landscapes of dreams and visions; yet in our "physical reality" this is easier said than done. Could it be that "Time" anchors us to our physical bodies? Perhaps if we could learn to break free of Time and experience "Eternity", here and now, we could liberate ourselves from the limitations of our physicality. Perhaps the 2012 End Date applies only to Timekeeping . . . and to those who keep Time-

We can begin by "killing our televisions" and declaring the earth an "internal combustion-free" zone- . . . it would at least be a move in the right direction-

Despite our toxic way of life, we seem committed to inhabiting an "uninhabitable world".

What disturbs me even more than the lies, is our apparent willingness to believe them.

Religion is a defense against the "religious experience". --C.G. Jung

The "secret" of the spiral is; that while it may be quasi-predictable, it is never redundant. Unlike its sister the circle who is locked in a fixed loop of repetition, the spiral is forever curious and continually seeking new experience. The spiral's code informs the development of every living thing in our world and can be found not only in the shape of our galaxy, but in the subtle geometry of an apple blossom.

It is not the external world, but our habitual responses to it that enslave us-

Gee your pants smell "fruity"!

Apple blossom opens in the light April shower, exposing her five-fold mystery to the world. Who will notice? Who will read the ancient secrets written in the arrangement of her petals?

"You don't look for what you don't believe in." --Dr. Albert Goodyear's response upon learning ancient artifacts had been unearthed in Chile that suggested it was inhabited much earlier than he'd previously imagined. . . . how typical of "scientific thinking" is this?

When asked, most people will profess to be in favor of "change", provided it does not require them to do anything different-

We need to learn to celebrate one another while we are alive, and to let go of one another once we are gone. Decide here and now to take nothing for granted-

Is making the conscious or unconscious choice to simply "sleep through one's life" and not question the many lies that are being marketed as truth; is this really "just being human"? Is this state of self-perpetuated oblivion really deserving of anyone's hard earned compassion?

Attempting to derive our sense of worth from the work we do is a case of "mistaken identity"- "We" are NOT the work we do! Our essence is who we ARE! Our work is but one of the many footprints we leave behind in the sand-

At times, I feel as if I have a "plasmoid in sideways"!

"I am with you at all times, in all ways, for there is nothing I am not"-

And it may surprise you to learn that the birds know us, semi-affectionately, as "Tweedlie-yurp CheepCheep-Skrawk" . . . (loosely translated- "BIG PINK HAIRLESS MONKEYS")

A different kind of Witch now burns in the Vatican. "Seeds sown in ancient times ripen into vengeful vines." And payback is a MOTHER!

And while you're at it, you can add to your list the extremely toxic (yet barely audible) levels of low frequency noise pollution that are making many of us very, very sick! We are all living in acoustic "chambers of horror"! And as usual, most of us are completely unaware-

To really know "G(?)D" one must reach beyond the image to the "essence".

"I am Your Child who will, to Your Womb, one day return as Your Lover." - This is the true meaning of the Galactic Alignment of 2012-

It is time for humanity to take a collective evolutionary leap out of "war consciousness". Ultimately, this responsibility falls on each and every one of us.

Gaze into the five-fold mystery of any apple blossom, and listen as it shares its wondrous truth about the earth, the stars, and the galaxy we live in!

Like a well written book, there are so many levels to what's going on around us. Unfortunately, most of it is only taken at face value.

Gee . . . if only scoutmasters had been required to abide by the Scouts' Oath!

So at lap swim today I asked the lifeguard: "Even though I have a girlfriend, can I still use the "single-lane", or would that be considered "cheating"? He looked at me for a moment and then replied: "Cheating, no! That's just misrepresentation."- True story! I so appreciate someone whose mind is still intact.

We must imagine our way out of smallness.

Nature. Just listen! The more you try to decipher the less you understand-

I long for the day when the last machine falls silent, and the earth assumes the stillness of the night sky-

Why can't the world be quiet? Why is it so full of "dead people"? How can "dead people" make so much noise?

I am utterly fascinated by the uncanny similarities between the Earth-Venus orbit ratio (1.625) and the Golden Mean or Fibonacci Sequence! Sacred Geometry in action! I am in awe!

With solar radiation at an all time high and the earth's weakening magnetic field at an all time low, you'll have to forgive me if I don't appear all that thrilled over the notion of "saving daylight"!

Trees, icebergs, people, and the Truth exist primarily beneath the surface. If you have any sense at all, sooner or later you've got to ask yourself the question: "How can two airplanes destroy three skyscrapers?" Does 2+2 really equal 5? Is this the "new math"?

If I had stopped to listen once or twice. If I had closed my mouth and opened my eyes. If I had cooled my head and warmed my heart. I'd not be on this road tonight. -James Taylor

If you expect Washington to come to the rescue, first ask yourself: "Who's going to rescue Washington?"

In the event of global catastrophe, try to remain calm and proceed in single file toward the exit nearest you.

Sitting quietly with no agenda, save for that of listening to the steadily falling rain-

Admittedly, I know next to nothing about how the world works; why malignant tumors suddenly disappear while pedophiles get away with murder. I only know that each moment assembles everything it needs to be complete. And I am forever in awe of the mystery of this perfection!

Looking back, my one regret is that I didn't spend more time at the office-

Practice going "out of your mind" a little each day. Learn to trust your intuition and listen to what the natural world is saying. One day you will be glad you did.

I think it's time we took turns celebrating "THANK GOD YOU'RE STILL ALIVE" day with one another, so that we each get to actually hear all those wonderful and sincere things people don't think to say about us until after we're gone-

Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got till it's gone. -Joni Mitchell

We are all inmates incarcerated together in a prism of Light-

I am constantly on the lookout for that perfect "all-occasions bible passage"!

Emanuel Swedenborg, Gautama Buddha, Alan Watts, John Cage, Sri Aurobindo, Rudolf Steiner, Robert Monroe, J. Krishnamurti, Sir Isaac Newton, C.G. Jung . . . I most admire males who, throughout history, were famous for their ability to sit quietly and LISTEN!

Strange how the ghosts of childhood gods continue to haunt me throughout my adult life. Take care what seeds you plant in the hearts and minds of your children-

It often seems to me that the physical world is little more than a "work-sheet" our spirits use to experiment with outlandish ideas. The realm of "what if" - Consciousness collapsing possibilities - hardly anything to be taken all that seriously.

Denying the existence of something isn't good science. It only reduces our chances of being pleasantly surprised!
Thank god Jung entertained the possibility of things Freud insisted could not exist- i.e. the non-local implications of the "collective" unconscious

We must learn to think about Death every day, if for no other reason than to remind ourselves how fortunate we are and how fleeting and precious each moment is. Look around you at the people in your life- do not assume you will ever see any of them again.

Each moment miraculously assembles everything it needs to be complete. The "rightness" and the "wrongness" of it are unimportant, for it is "doing" us, and not the other way around-

There's a lot of shit happening in the world, not even a fool would deny this. But the simple fact remains; every moment is precious, we have it while we have it and then it's gone-

Looking back, it will one day be of little importance who was "right" and who was "wrong". I believe the only thing of any consequence is that we "step up to the plate" and speak our own personal truth as we see it in this moment that has miraculously assembled us-

Unless we are willing to step outside the stream of events that make up our daily lives and entertain a "Larger Perspective", we will be continually dismayed and bewildered by what is going on around us. The addiction of self importance is but another form of denial.

Just to keep things in perspective, occasionally look into the mirror at your own body and remind yourself; "one day, none of this will exist".

It is through the "holes in the noise" that we glimpse an accurate picture of the truth-

It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it. -George Carlin

Ours is a shared yet fragmented consciousness. It would behoove us to study the way multitudes of birds suddenly change direction in mid-flight, for no "apparent reason". Free Will vs. Free Flight- . . . I guess it's up to us to "connect the dots".

Take care that the belief system in which you are now enmeshed does not one day impede the flow of blood to your brain.

Our generation is lost and our children are the key. We personify the end of a cycle and they the beginning-

Lasting change will most likely come about as a result of a subtle shift in our perception; an Awakening, and not from the implementing of some new governing principle or system.

Neither Health Care Reform, a new "stimulus package" or Global Warming Mandate will rescue us from our "predicament"-

Assume for just one day that EVERYTHING in your world is CONSCIOUS, and see what happens-

Anyone who meditates will tell you that the level of "conscious thought" is but another mile-post on the road to clarity. Look inward. Confront your Shadow and draw your "dark children" upward toward the light.

We are living the deconstruction of a lie. . . Welcome it!

Rectangular structures set on rectangular grids within whose rectangular confines we spend most of our lives. Kinda makes you wonder if whether or not it is "we" who are being "farm raised".

Each of us is the world's "best kept secret"

"Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love." — Rainer Maria Rilke

Ours is a culture ravenous for its next distraction-

There is nothing at all "physical" about the physical world. It is fundamentally "energy vibrating at different frequencies". Our bodies are more like "habitual thoughts" that we keep repeatedly thinking . . . over-and-over again.
So tell me, how does one become attached to a thought?

I write from my present level of ignorance.

Most of us have at least one event in our childhood that only we can rescue ourselves from.

Our society seems to be fixated on "shadow management". Unless we learn to confront and integrate all of our "dark children", we will be haunted by them for the rest of our lives.

Dare to venture beyond gods, goddesses and ideas about them to where your true home awaits you.

Pollution is a symptom of "Environ-mental Illness"-

Getting what we want in life is not so much a matter of learning how to acquire those things, as it is convincing ourselves that we deserve them. We get what we "believe" we deserve,

In many respects, the "modern world" is fast becoming a perverse reenactment of humanity's collective madness. What we are apt to encounter "out there" is often a projection of what is going on "in here".

Are we intentionally deceiving one another, or simply recycling misinformation?

Space, Time and Consciousness all appear to be inseparable. Even the subtlest shift in consciousness will alter the space/time we inhabit.

Try to sit quietly every day and let Stillness rumble through you like a ghost train.

Because the essence of the truth is unknowable, one must be willing to set aside the rational mind in order to experience its depth and clarity. There is no "here or there" . . . no "then and now". These are conceptual artifacts. There is only "this" . . . and it is perfect!

Try to remember this moment is perfection, and that those around you are no less perfect or fragile than you.

You will not be required to learn a "secret handshake" in order to gain entry into the sacred, magical world of trees. You need only to walk into the woods with an open heart.

Our hearts know more than our brains ever will. Hearts are for exploring. Brains are for mapping-

Hearts ask all the right questions!

It is often difficult for me to believe that we are the living legacy of an unimaginably intelligent ancestry whose thoughts encompassed the entire cosmos while we, on the other hand, are conditioned to think so small-

They have successfully convinced most of us that there is no "they"!

We are surrounded by magnificent hyper-spatial Beings whose fluid, 3 dimensional "shadows" are known to us as Trees!

Many of us wear our stupidity like a uniform which denotes the specific branch of stupidity with which we affiliate ourselves.

Everything you really need is where it's always been; right in front of you, "hidden in plain sight"-

There should be a "12 Step Program" for chronic "petroleum abusers".

Each of us is special, but not for the obvious reasons; rather for reasons of which most of us are completely unaware. We spend the early part of our lives spinning stories about ourselves that reinforce who we believe ourselves to be, and the later part unravelling these stories in order to get at who we really are.

If you wish to become a good novelist, begin by learning to write a good fragment-

There is much to be learned from the letter "Y" which is perfectly at ease either as a vowel or a consonant depending on the situation-

Yestertime seems so far ago and long away . . .

All we are ever able to perceive is the knowable fractal expression of an unknowable whole-

I long for the day when the last machine falls silent, and the earth assumes the stillness of the night sky-

The things we're taught as children, the books we read, the conversations we indulge in, all add up to create and reinforce a world view which then taints our perception of every experience we have. And so few of us are even willing to entertain the possibility that any of it was a lie.

Our world has become so toxic and artificial, it's a wonder any of us are still alive-

What if our greatest scientific minds, our most gifted mystics, artists and visionaries, and all the esteemed indigenous wisdom-keepers from all around the planet have somehow gotten it completely WRONG? What if the truth of our existence is yet to be imagined, let alone articulated? What if? . . .

What lies within the higher worlds can be reached only by developing in ourselves new ways of perceiving. -Rudolf Steiner

THE SELF. The One sleeping SELF who dreams all of us into existence is Awakening! - Awakening not "from" but "to" the Dream. The SELF is becoming LUCID! And all of humanity is on the verge of knowing- "who we really are"- WE ARE ONE ANOTHER!

As you journey inward beyond all knowing, beyond all dreaming, beyond gods, goddesses, archetypes and all the masks of the divine; beyond who you believe yourself to be, your greatest truth lies waiting for you-

Be grateful you are here and for the people in your life, for life's only constant is impermanence.

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one." -Albert Einstein

It's not enough just to see the glass as either "half-full" or "half-empty". We must also remember to closely inspect its contents.

Your natural surroundings are your external metabolism. With each and every breath we breathe in our "selves".

There is no "becoming", only "remembering". We are all buddhas who have temporarily forgotten who we really are; gods masquerading as fools.

All separation is an illusion. Nothing exists independently of anything else. Observer, observed and the "act of observing"-all part of a seamless and undifferentiated coexistence whose spell is broken the moment we impose our judgement upon it.

True freedom comes from the ability to remain perfectly still when the world around you isn't. In this state of clarity you see that EVERYTHING is "coming from you" and not "at you", and that by remaining still, you can actually affect the chaos in which you appear to be engulfed. Be still as stone in the howling wind-

We have been successfully duped into believing we exist as separate individuals when, in fact, there is only one Consciousness. We borrow from it the way the moon borrows light from the sun. Each of us is the point at which this Consciousness observes itself. It is Life that is "doing us", and not the other way around.

When you die you will be given the choice as to where you'd like to go. Either Heaven, where you will spend eternity with all your facebook friends, or Hell, where you will spend eternity with all your facebook friends.

We are unable to stop talking because we have become addicted to concepts. We produce and voraciously consume concepts the way our ancestors produced and consumed vegetables, though it is unlikely they were addicted to them.

We are "non-local" consciousness creating "local stories".

Real change can come only if we are willing to question the fairy tales we live in.

People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul. -Carl Jung

We are all being asked to live the most artificial life imaginable. Yet, sadly, for many of us this seems the most "natural" thing to do.

"Father forgive them for they know not what they do." These, we are told, were among the final words spoken by Jesus as he hung upon the cross. Had he been crucified today, I suspect his closing remarks might have carried with them a somewhat harsher tone. Something like . . .
"Humans are a disgrace! They will NEVER learn. I have run out of compassion for these 'lab rats' who are every bit as ignorant as the 'gods' who spawned them. They continue to blindly worship these gods, and in doing so destroy not only themselves but the world around them. I'VE HAD ENOUGH!"
